Website repair & recovery
Your website is part of your business. Let’s get it back to work.
We help businesses recover after a hack: repair what can be saved, rebuild what needs a fresh start, and address the weaknesses that put the site at risk.

Strange redirects. Unfamiliar pages. Browser warnings. A hosting account suspended after a malware report.
If your site has been compromised, we’ll help you understand the damage and choose a sensible route to recovery. WordPress and other business websites are welcome.
Start with your website addressReview the site, available backups and signs of compromise. Preserve useful content and identify what can be restored safely.
Clean up compromised files and content where practical. If rebuilding is the stronger option, keep your business, message and familiar design at the center.
Review software, accounts and known weaknesses. Check important pages and functions, then establish a clear plan for backups and ongoing care.
From problem to plan
You’ll know what we’ve found, what we recommend, and what the work will cost before the repair scope is approved.
Share your website address, what changed and any messages from your host. We’ll arrange the access needed for a review.
We assess the damage and available recovery options, then explain the recommended scope, estimate and likely schedule.
Repair and recover the existing site, or rebuild it when necessary. Address identified problems and check the functions your business relies on.
Leave with a clear handoff for updates, access and backups, plus options for a webmaster to keep looking after the site.
After the immediate fix
Getting the site working again is only part of the job.
Outdated plugins and software, weak access controls, and missed maintenance can give attackers an opening. A backup can help with recovery, but it does not close the weakness that allowed an attack.
We’ll talk through who will own updates, security checks and backups after the repair. If you’d rather have a webmaster handle that work, we can discuss continuing care through DOYJO and managed hosting through WebHostXTC.
When a rebuild makes sense, the aim is a familiar website with cleaner foundations, easier maintenance and a better experience for your customers.

No two compromised websites are exactly alike. The first step is understanding yours.
That’s often the goal. We try to preserve the design, content and functions that serve your business. If damaged or unsupported parts need replacing, we’ll explain the tradeoffs before agreeing on a rebuild.
We can still assess what is available on the current site and ask your hosting provider about recovery options. Missing or compromised backups may limit what can be recovered. We’ll explain those limits and whether a rebuild makes sense.
The cost depends on the platform, damage, available backups and work needed to make the site usable again. Contact Brian for an initial conversation. Any paid assessment, repair or rebuilding work will be explained and agreed on before it begins.
That depends on the scope and how quickly access and recovery materials are available. We’ll discuss timing after reviewing the problem. Hosting restrictions and third-party warning reviews can also affect when the site is fully accessible.
No responsible provider can promise that. The work focuses on the problems we identify, supported software, appropriate access and a practical maintenance and backup plan to reduce risk and make recovery easier.
Note when you first saw the problem, save any messages from your host and avoid deleting files or backups before they’ve been reviewed. Send your website address and a short description. Please don’t email passwords; we’ll arrange access after we talk.
For WordPress sites, WordPress’s hacked-site guidance also explains why documenting the issue and preserving a copy matter.
